Credentials
Administración > Credenciales (Administration > Credentials) is not in the menu by default. If you do not see it, your Client does not have it enabled (Menus per Client). Agents with InferNode models work without this section.
A credential is a key for an external provider. Agents and workflows use it by name; you never see or copy the secret in their configuration.
What needs a credential and what does not
| What you do | Credential |
|---|---|
| An agent with an InferNode model | None. It is managed by the organization. |
| An agent with Claude, Gemini or another external provider | The provider's (Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, Saptiva AI). |
| A workflow node that stores files in S3 | An S3-compatible credential. |
| A workflow node that generates images | Gemini. |
| An MCP server connected as a workflow tool | An MCP credential. |
| WhatsApp channel in a workflow | WhatsApp Business, assigned as the Cuenta del flujo (Workflow account). |
How a credential flows
You never write or see the secret: you choose a name. If the administrator rotates the secret with Editar (Edit), your agent keeps working without changes; if they delete the credential, the agent moves to Requiere atención (Needs attention).
Who creates them
Credentials are managed by a Client administrator in Administración > Credenciales, who shares them with the organization. When you configure an agent, you choose among the available ones; the one marked Por defecto is used if you do not choose any.
If a credential is deleted, the agents and workflows that used it move to Requiere atención. See A revoked credential is still in use.
