Start with Preciso (Precise) and Corta (Short). Raise creativity and length only if the task calls for it. Most business tasks (classifying, extracting, answering based on documents) work better with a low temperature.
History off for single-turn tasks. It saves tokens and keeps earlier responses from contaminating the current one.
A local InferNode model before an external one. It doesn't require a credential, it doesn't leave your infrastructure, and you see its cost in the Client.
Fewer tools are better. Each tool adds options that the model can choose wrongly. Turn on only the ones the instruction uses.
Documents in Fuentes (Sources): short and clean. A 200-page PDF with indexes and footers is indexed worse than five documents with one topic each.
Share, don't duplicate. If another member needs the same agent, share it; two copies diverge within weeks.
Write the description. It's what you see in the list when there are 30 agents.
